In this case, it really is home. Welcome to Mest Wildlife Habitat. Located in Eastern Pennsylvania, we have our fair share of interesting critters that come through the backyard of our home which is 1/4 acre in the middle of a neighborhood. The Mest Wildlife Habitat became a Certified Wildlife Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation in December 2018. “Because of the owner’s conscientious planning, landscaping, and sustainable gardening, wildlife will find quality habitat here—food, water, cover, and places to raise their young.”

Will Mest owns Mest Wildlife Habitat and manages this blog. Will is recently retired. Over the last 28 years we have designed our back yard to mostly attract birds, bees, and butterflies along with other critters that visit on occasion. Stay tuned to see the animals that venture through our neck of the woods!
